While attending a conference with Darfuri civil society leaders in Tanzania, Jerry Fowler, president of the Save Darfur Coalition, spoke with attendees about the significance of the ICC charges against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. These leaders, who have witnessed the violence and injustice in Darfur, also reacted to reports that U.N. Security Council member countries may invoke Article 16 to let al-Bashir off the hook for his crimes.
The people of Darfur deserve justice.
Tell the U.S. to oppose any attempt to suspend the charges against al-Bashir.

Tim Nonn says:
Thank you Jerry for putting this video together. Rarely do we hear the voices of Darfuris in the discussion about the ICC case on Darfur. Pres. Bashir and his cohorts have a voice in the media and at the UN. This will help to get out the other side.
DGA says:
With all of the recent developments, when are we going to do more than just send postcards! They are needed, but we have to jump this to another level!!
If we were back in time during the Holocaust, would we be sending postcards? Would we not be doing all that it takes to stop the killings?
Stop being nice to our leaders! Bush has been sitting in office for 5 years while this has been happening. Our Congress has been there also!
Every American should know that genocide is happening on our watch, and we are all to blame for the hundreds of thousands that have died. Are leaders are even more responsible because they are in a position that gives them power to make a true difference.
Enough words! Action!
