50 Days in Office – What can I do?

March 11th, 2009 by Ashley Spitz

Yesterday marked President Obama’s 50th day as our President. STAND and Genocide Intervention Network asked activists to send a fax to President Obama to “let the President know what he has done well in his first 50 days, and what he needs to do to fulfill his promise of “unstinting resolve” to end the genocide in Darfur.”

Over 1,000 people signed-up with STAND to send faxes to President Obama. The fax was a progress report of President Obama’s first 50 days, with a list of actions that they would like the President to take in regard to Darfur and the ICC’s decision on President Bashir.

If you didn’t have the opportunity to send a fax today and you still want to ask President Obama to make Darfur a priority you can send him a postcard and be a voice for Darfur.
